i FOLLOWED your steps exactly and ive had people Say to me ive done the right thing to set it up and that it should work. and theres nothing wrong with my computer either, and someone suggested winter's roar hates me lol

well this is the error i get when i run your "reliable :lol: " patcher and even after manual patching.. :

Attempting to connect to Patch Server...

Error: Username/Password was not accepted for file transaction.

and before u think "hell find the other posts wheres its shown how its fixed" i allready have and i thought ahead i ALLREADY installed the manual patch files So i dont know what the hell is wrong, but when i press cancel on winters roar patcher it says core file being downloaded please wait added on the line. but my modem is downloading shit tard all. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:
 
ok i restarted my computer, it works horray, i login i create a character. i join the game... i get a messege saying

YOUR ACCOUNT HASNT BEEN PROVED, DONT ASK WHY YOUR STUNNED SO SHUT UP YOU WILL BE KICKED IN 60 SECONDS!
You are stunned!


wow thats nice isnt it? maybe some people might find a better emulated server because of this messege.

Now tell me. How long is it going to take for my account to be fucking proved?

This is a forum not a chat room.. Sometimes you have to wait more than 8 minutes for someone who knows the answer to see the question and reply.

As far as being stunned. This is to force people to read the rules in their entirety. The answer to how to approve your account is in the rules on the site.

PS. as far as finding a better emulated server... Not likely to happen. For all its problems WR is still the best out there by a huge margin. My advice for you is to take a deep breath, read the rules and log in to enjoy it.
 
i think only people that don't know how to get around the message will take offense to it, and if i remember the point of it is to keep people who don't know the rules off the server...so it serves its purpose if they go somewhere else.
 
Yup, I read the rules even before installing the files, and was wondering what was it for... Until I logged for the first time, was stunned and didn't remember what to do (at least I knew where to find it :D )
