Wiki zone connection map

My suggestion: Fix the wiki's zone connection map.

I recently noticed that the wiki's zone connection map(which is hosted offsite) still points to the angrygamer wiki. I also noticed that some of the angrygamer zone pages had become infected with spam. I have copied the zone map, replaced all of the links so that they actually point to the SoDWiki, and checked to make sure that all of the links work and take you to the correct page.

I don't have any web storage set up, but I will be glad to email what I have to the appropriate folks. Thanks for your consideration.

The staff has nothing to do with the wiki besides hosting it. Its maintenance is completely the responsibility of those who use and enjoy it.

As Tyrsell is involved in the maintenance of the wiki, and I'm pretty sure he's staff, I didn't think a post here was out of line. Perhaps suggestions and requests was less than appropriate however. Feel free to move this to SoD Discussion if that would be a more appropriate place.

In any event, the main reason I posted this here is that I feel that the map should be hosted on the same server as the SoD wiki (which it currently isn't). I could upload the corrected map to webspace and fix the main problem but it still wouldn't be editable by the wiki membership.

With the current wiki still linking to the angrygamer wiki, there is the potential to expose users to keyloggers/viruses/objectionable material due to the spam that is gradually overtaking the dead wiki. THAT is what I was hoping we could correct.

Thanks for not yelling at me Ikaa :)

There was no reason to, I just couldnt seem to convey what Wold said without sounding mean.

Tyrsell's involvement with the wiki is unrelated to being a staff member, however. So yeah, S/R isnt really the best place for this, since you are asking for community help, and not staff involvement. Moved

Maybe if I get time I will make a new map with links, but that's a lot of work for someone who is a full time student, a full time employee, and a full time slacker. If you are so concerned, as you seem to be, you should try and see what you can come up with. You only need basic skill in photoshop and HTML. The hard part is finding a host! :D
