Why no sow?

I have been puttering around again in SOD and am thinking about playing again. I notice that zoning into a zone strips sow. I really find this a pain. When running from Newport to everfrost for example I lose my run speed going through bb. What is the logic of this? It is just another thing that is a pain.

It does? Bih'li sticks for sure when I gate after buffing myself from athica to epl, and again on zoning from epl to nro occasionally. Perhaps it's simply because you're hitting an indoor zone? Though it would be nice if the buff would stick, but just have no effect in a specific zone. Not sure if this could be implemented though, and might be more of a pain than its worth.

I think blackburrow doesnt allow sow nor any form of levitation (100% sure on levitation, not sure about sow)

All indoor zones cancel SoW. I honestly don't know the reasoning behind it, but I do know that it is as intended and I agree that it is very annoying.

Meaning, if you cast the outdoor only invis outside, and then try to zone somewhere that is indoors, it won't work, you'll uninvis yourself.

i've always had a problem considering BB an indoor zone, especially when both entrances/exits are up top in the "outdoor" area. i think it should be an outdoor dungeon. that or add magical traps to the lower concealed area which strip off druid/ranger sow/invis.

Its a caverous area.

Essentially its a sinkhole. The shaft goes all the way down with a pool in the bottom.

I would say.. think of it like this.. You use the "Nature/Outside" surroundings to run faster. =]
