where to farm money at low lvl

am lvl 12 and now exp is flying with groups and such. Where would a good place to farm some cash for gear and spells be at lvl 15-20 ish. I tried the wiki but they just list places to farm for exp.

I rather farm a place that is slower in exp but better in cash so I can take this cloth and leather off.

I know you all going to say try to farm silks, pelts and such but I want real money and not having to go through the listsold feature.

Basically, am asking if there is a way i can farm 100pp on both characters around lvl 20 to get a basic set of gear to help me lvl and to do adepts.

Not really, get 15-20 and buy/loot the scraps/molds for wyvernfang armor, good to go.

If you're not willing to farm TS materials, then just go kill stuff and vendor every stinking little thing you can. Especially things that stack, less trips to the vendor and more time killing. Really, the secret to low lvl cash is TS mats, though.

If you don't have the patience to farm TS materials, then just level up and don't worry about gear upgrades.

If you watch TV a lot, you can do mining while mostly watching TV and eventually make some serious money. Warpmetal ore sells for 350 PP per stack. And it is mined in a safe area. But expect to spend some time mining before you skill-up enough to be able to mine this. And warpmetal is in great demand. Imagine making 1k while watching football on Sunday afternoon. Get enough pottery skill and brewing skill and you can make Tempering for almost nothing (from rocks you get while mining) and sell that to smiths too.

Eventually work on smithing until you can make Mithril weapons and you will find that you can't make enough to keep demand satisfied. 40-60 PP each.

That is one way to make some real money with very little investment. Enough to twink yourself.

on the third hand, research gear on the wiki and you won't ever have to buy a single thing in order to stay appropriately geared for your level

you can find the mobs, make the kills yourself, and you will actually be better geared than everyone but the serious twinks

I made 50pp by level 12 selling bone chips to people. I know you don't want to, but tradeskill materials are the way to go. I didn't mess with listsold, I just took my backpacks of chips to people oocing.

Mining is possibly the best you're going to be able to do in the shortest amount of time. It took like, 2 weeks max for me to get in the upper 200's. Most of which was done in sadri (since they swapped things from needing higher ores to skill at higher levels , to even iron ore can skill you to 250). There are people out there who would buy even the middle ores (dalium etc), it's just that people rarely sell them.

Granted, getting those ores sucks, and there are a ridiculous amount of ways to make more money at 65 for time spent, even if you were to be a maxed smith, and mine your own mats.

This is so true. What was I thinking?

It is, a fair amount of work on the calculator with smithing and mining mats (single miner) v traditional farming led me to stop smithing except when I'm very very bored. More xp the farming route as well.
