what??? This item is whack.

It's just a glitch with wiki. The effect is an HP--> mana conversion with a recast clicky.
 
I don't know..I really wouldn't like alt-tabbing all the time for mana so I actually like that it's like a mod rod type effect.
 
It was ridiculously overpowered and essentially nullified any reason to upgrade your range slot (as a chain cleric, it would give (in a pause 30 chain) 58 mana, and 29 mana in any chain less than that. Considering you cast well more than 10 CHs per boss fight, this clearly gets out of control. It's much less powerful in its current incarnation, but infintely less mind-numbing, and the power isn't all that much less if you factor in a useable range slot.
 
The Canni mantle, on the other hand, has become nearly worthless, not good enough stats to warrent wearing it because there are non raid mobs that drop better and its only shoulder slot, which is essentially worthless for priests, not ammo like the canni worm. :(
 
The canni shoulders were always terrible. even before the nerf, and now that clerics can get those FT2 shoulders off the spider with over 100 mana on them too what's the purpose?
 
Man, if only there were some way to suggest things to the devs where they could read it. I don't know, maybe I'm crazy. Some kind of forum? Call me a revolutionary if you must, but I think this would be a great idea. If only things were different. If only you had the power in your hands. If only...

That's only thinking of the raid perspective, and even, they were still pretty awesome. Unless the cleric is gonna run out of HP to canni before the mob, or is in so tight of a chain they can't canni at all, the mantle was still pumping out crazy-good mana.

In non raid situations? I meant it when I said endless magical infinite mana button, lol.
 
Canni worm was a uber item old days now it is just a extra mod rod . so no mass pressing it makes clrs a bit less funnier to play.
So now i play more and more on my Bard on raids .
 
well on raids lets say we got a 30 pause that means i can if do 2 canni clicks and recast next cheal in time.

it is allways exsiting if i can do 1 or 2 canni clicks on every cheal rounds =)

nowdays i press cheal and play 80% on my bard on raids .
 
Well, we're considering rebalancing the game to exist without CH, so that could change in the future.
