what is one of the best duo combos?

Easily the best.

Paladin druid is the next best but it comes nowhere near as great as druid/druid

my favorite atm is pally+monk, pally tanks and heals monk spilts does dps or off tanks when needed, pretty sweet

Pally/Monk is probably my favorite combo, but isn't necessarily the best.

The most fun I've had is Warrior/Shadowknight or Warrior/Paladin on raid content. Best? No. Fun? Yes.

You should probably stick with something like druid/bard or shaman/monk.

it all depends on gear level, at the lower end of the gear ie unraid geared - t6 spectrum a pally/druid would be one of the best at the upper end t6+ one of the best is a monk/shaman because the monk can tank and do great dps and the shaman can go for almost forever and do decent dps/healing meaning you kill way faster which means more loots/money and soulbonding a ds is easy.
