I've been experiencing a serious lagging issue with alt+tab. Bear in mind that I don't use EQW, I pretty much run EQ straight from the get-go.
Anyways, up until about a week ago, I used to be able to alt+tab out of EQ flawlessly - I could switch out to browse the web, 2-box, or just do anything. However, for some reason, I now experience a 20-30 second delay/lock-up when alt+tabbing out, and I experience it again when going back to EQ. This pretty much kills my ability to 2-box or to do anything else other than just play a single instance of EQ.
I'm currently running on Windows Vista Home Premium, and I have 2GB of ram. I don't think CPU usage is a problem, but I've tried downloading and running EQPN to see if that helped at all, but it didn't. Haven't downloaded any new programs within the time period aside from updates for Windows. I tried doing a system restore to prior periods but I still get that nasty delay.
Any idea why I suddenly am getting delays while alt+tabbing? And are there any fixes?
