How much does weapon kill mobs help, Specifically Archery Mod? It would be nice to know how the other mods work at well.
I have recently heard that + archery skill does nothing so I am rather interested in learning if that is indeed true.
I found this post...
This leads me to believe that weapon skill will not help with how often you hit the mob, like I have always thought, however it just adds atk so you hit harder when you do hit the mob.
Then I find this post...
If this was true, you receive 2.68 atk per over cap weapon skill and .08 more accuracy per over cap weapon skill.
It would just be nice to know if archery mob does indeed help just like other weapon skill mods, thank you for your time.

The weapontype you are using when you attack is considered 1) when you start a swing, to check for skillups, and 2) to check what your weapon skill is at to determine your ATK (and if you're using a 2h weapontype, to get a bonus on that). Nowhere else. The area of the code where damage is reacted to doesn't look at it at all.

+25 piercing/backstab skill gives you 67 extra ATK when hitting with piercing weapons/backstab. And it increases your accuracy with them; I can't remember exactly how much off the top of my head but I'm thinking like 2% (absolute, not relative, so 70%->72% and 55%->57%, etc... I think.)
archery mod is the same amount?
If this is true, how much more atk will having max over cap weapon skill (+25) makes a character hit?Same for everything.
