Weapon Augs? and Type 8?

Prehaps I just havn't seen any.. but do weapons in SoD have Aug slots??

And I recently pick up a item that has a type 8 slot... I have nevrer seen a type 8 aug. Where do you get type 8? and is it player made?
 
No, weapons do not have aug slots (with the exceptoin of shields and bows of course). Type 8 aug slots are deity aug slots IIRC.
 
Speaking of which, the Protection of Sommus is a shield and doesn't have an augment slot. Would be awesome if this got fixed. Thanks.

Bummer.. no augs in weapons :(

Deity augs..... how easy/hard are those to get? Guessing VERY hard... but then whats the point of putting a Type 8 aug slot in a 6pp Battle Charm.....

Not hard at all afaik, but you can choose a deity once and have to stick with it or become a pariah.
 
... Mm not hard.. well as a Paladin I didn't have a choice of deity it was already picked. I am pretty sure my Shaman was auto picked as well (both Frogloks).

So where do I go to get these Deity Augs then?
