Warrior struggles

I need some help understanding where my warrior should go from here. For the first time from 1-55 I am struggling to hold aggro after the initial foelock(s). At this stage I know that AA's and weapons play such a huge role in threat generation. I expected there to be a hill to climb towards the end of the road, but right now looking at the AA's I feel as if I just approached Mt. Everest. Linking my fomelo below.

FYI, I am familiar with the wiki page devoted to warrior weapon choices and have read through other posts on the matter. As well as this post: http://forum.shardsofdalaya.com/showthread.php?t=18288&highlight=weapon+guide

I know the Hammer of Ancient Visions is a massive offhand upgrade that I am looking to pick up shortly, but I don't see it being a "game breaking" upgrade that suddenly helps to solidify my threat and Ytrazliarch is so far in the horizon that I dare not think that far ahead. Secondly, I realize my haste needs a solid upgrade (waiting on the 32% mod tmap earring), but I don't feel that it is holding me back as no one in my group has over 10-15% haste atm (all patiently waiting for the same free earring). Aggression wise I am running 4 atm and will upgrade it to 5 as soon as the VE tmap arms drop.

So I guess I need to know which AA's play the most vital role. I would love to pick up advanced anatomy early, but the prereqs are so steep (and useless) that those points seem better spent...

1.) Are ambidexterity and melee mastery huge threat jumps?
2.) What about flurry? It sounds like amazing burst threat, but I have never seen it mentioned (anywhere). Is the proc rate just that bad?
3.) Or should I focus on the tank AA's first? Lightning Reflexes, Phys Enhancement, Weapon Shield, Heroic Durability, etc...
4.) As an aside - should I be switching back to boots with a proc on them just for the additional threat?

If I go with option 3 that seems to put me so far behind my group that is continually advancing their offensive AA's while my defensive AA's are essentially useless when they constantly rip mobs off of me. Really I am just lost here, I feel that my gear is fantastic for where I am at and that I should not (all of a sudden) find threat to be such a huge deal. Especially considering that I just upgraded my main hand to a pristine RHLS which I had hoped would jump my threat to a considerable point. However, it hasn't...

It is is to the point where I am regretting breaking my bank and spending 15k on the ToLL and wish that I had put it on my equally geared 65 paladin. Thank you in advance for any and all insight/advice that you can provide me.

EDIT: Is this where /s 4 comes into its own? I just realized that 1-55 I never bothered with it (and as such forgot about it) due to threat being a non issue. If so, how potent is /s 4? I generally rotate between 1, 6, and 3 depending on the situation. I think this could be the a large part of my problem, can any more experienced warrior offer some insight into this?

1. Yes
2. Not really worth it early on
3. I personally bought defensive AA's first, after important AA's that allow you to hit the mob more often (melee mastery, combat ferocity)
4. It depends on the proc of the boots. +5 dodge is pretty nice

I first bought all the defensive AAs, and the HP ones, lightning reflexes etc. You'll look good keeping aggro if you can't survive the hits.
Then the ones that allow you to hit more.
Then imo you'll have to suck it up and buy advanced anatomy. It's well worth it. And if the prereq are what they are, that's because it's a major step.

Thanks for the replies, any insight on s4? As I stated I completely forgot about s4 as I never needed it before. Is the threat increase noticeable or is it another one of those stances that just doesn't live up to its purpose?

It is sizable. I used to use it to start fights at your level and it helped a ton.
