Warrior starfall sword -> non AOE?

I was very happy with the Warrior Starfall 2H sword until I found out that the proc on it is an AOE. That severly limits the situations it can be used without constantly ticking off the enchanter (and occasionally killing her), especially in dungeons. It has far better stats than any other weapon I've come across at my level, and would love to be able to use it more without constantly switching weapons depending on how many mobs were being pulled/in camp.

Considering it is a quested item (so work went into getting it), rather than a dropped item, would it be possible to change to proc to a non-aoe version?

P.S. The graphic is also pretty lame for such a nice sword, but I can live with that if I could use it more.
 
Depending on the radius of effect you might consider pulling back and away from the enchantress and the mobs she has under control. As an enchanter myself I can tell you outright that having a lot of action going on in the middle of a crowd I am trying to keep under control can be very stressful. Anyways, just an idea. I do that, but still have to keep switching weapons, as you can't do that on incoming. It goes something like:

Pull 4 mobs to camp
Enchanter mezzes mob1
Sword procs, waking mob1
mob1 beats on enchanter so she can't CC the rest quickly enough

Also, in some locations there's just not enough room to spread them out.
