Warrior Multi-targetting

Preface:
I know there are likely posts that refer to this in other threads; in fact I've noticed this comes up any time a Pally vs. SK vs. Warrior thread pops up. There is too much static in those threads for me to acquire the information I am looking for.

I am looking to turn the useful suggestions from this thread into the beginning of a Wiki guide. Maybe I'll find out there is not enough good info for that even.

Request:
As a starting warrior (level 30ish), I don't have really any trouble holding aggro against a single target but am finding it very hard to accurately click-target mobs when they're packed together. I'm looking for any advice whether it just be group procedure, engage calling, or what ui/view you guys use. Here's what I tend to do:

If there are 2-3, I let the group know, I target 1, shoot arrow, target #2 and turn on auto... if there are only 2 and the group assists, that's pretty much enough. If there are 3, I have trouble finding the third, and I don't know quite when to call for ppl to assist... on the pull? After I have foelocked each? What if ppl refuse to wait, or Bard's group songs pull aggro before I can get it, etc.

I play in 3rd person view with camera about 45 degree angle behind me... I think that may be part of the problem, maybe f9 a couple times so I can rotate around the other side of the mobs w/o spinning my warrior?

Anyway, any suggestions on what view, when to call engage, even what order targets should be engaged in (obviously in many cases kill healers first if they're there, etc), or anything else. Not looking for "Roll a Pally" or such things... maybe it's asking too much and it should just be learned from experience. I am learning, and I enjoy it but thought maybe even newer warriors could benefit and I'm sure I have 15-20 things to learn too.

Thanks guys

Get the pack, F8 the closest, attack. Move back a little bit and a back mob will come to the front, F8, attack...rinse till all hit. Then call for the assist.

Its best when grouping with a warrior to keep hitting assist. As time passes, hit the other mobs a bit. Get MQ5 for more ripostes as soon as possible(prob 65). Also, stack DSes as high as possible. Recommendations: mantle of the forest type clicky, token of living lava, druid or mage ds.

DS stacking and riposte mods make mass tanking far easier.

Edit: also if you bow tag, tag casters first, they normally take the longest to get to you, then its easy to F8 target the melees. Generally speaking though, unless grp resists are very high, kill casters first, then melee. It is far more difficult to keep agro on mass casters over melee b/c they dont hit you as much and thus less ripostes and ds agro.

I laugh so hard when I see Finlay tanking multiple mobs because he runs in circles spamming nearest NPC and attacking for foelock like a little angry armored halfling hornet. It makes my day.

First thing: keybind your last target key.

For a three pull you can select two targets, hit one with an arrow then use the last target key to select the other. Now click select the third target and you can use the last target key to toggle this target and the other target you have not hit yet.

Also bard group songs do not generate aggro so your bard is standing too close or using a detrimental song.

Three steps to successful warrior:

1.) Last target key.
2.) Assist macro.
3.) Damage shield.

The maximum amount of targets I could hold aggro on without burning ae taunt was ~4-5 in a progressive, and that was provided by a combination of lucky procs, spamming my assist macro, and mass clicking.

^ and you know when he has a primary as he settles down. ;P

This sounds like how I've always done it; strafe circles and mash targetting button. Mouse ftl.
