Warrior Hate Proc Weapons

At 25 - 35 are there any weapons for a warrior that have a hate proc. That or any useful armor items that have +aggression?

Preferably need items attainable by a group of people that level or buyable.

Also, how effective is Driving Attacks at gaining aggression? I was wondering what order I should use my stances in while tanking Adepts.

Such as:
Driving Attacks until Stamina is gone
Steel Barrier for remainder of fight

Or:
Driving Attacks until Stamina is gone
Steel Barrier until Stamina returns
Switch back to Driving again
Steel Barrier again when stamina runs

Having trouble holding agro over my twinked out friends =(

Should I be switching to a shield at any point here? Or will I lose agro to level 25 rogues with 10/20 weapons and obsidian gear.

This is all assuming they don't engage until I've taken 2%-ish of the Adepts life.

Thanks!

There isn't much in the way of gear with the properties you are describing without rec levels a bit above 25. I'd have to say, you need to do as much damage as you can as well as use Driving Attacks as much as possible. Your friends are just going to have to turn off auto attack and stop backstabbing for 20 seconds while you pickup some more aggro.

My suggestion is to let the rogues take a beating a few times and then they might learn to control their aggro...

Honestly it should be a non-issue, but there are rogues out there who suck at it. They get a hate-decreasing stance at level 15. It doesn't use much stamina from what I remember either.

If they need to use /s 6 all the time and want to be terrible about aggro control, have them help you go camp some better gear if need be or camp money to buy you some better weapons.

I had a massively twinked out rogue and even with the worst of tanks I could manage my aggro. It's not you... They're just not trying.

There was a spear that dropping in First Ruins before the revamp that had a hate proc on it. Cant recall the name at the moment.

There's a 7/18 or 7/19 offhand-only spear that procs hate (not sure if that's the one Danku is referring to).

Found it...

Edgehunter
MAGIC LORE

Edgehunter drops in MielechA in the old Lord area IIRC. Should be doable with a group at your level.

Using a shield will most definetly impact your ability to keep aggro. If you're having aggro issues now, using a shield will only make it worse.

I think this is actually as 7/20 (.35) he'd probably lose so much DPS switching to this weapon it would actually give him less aggro. Mithril spear is a 9/20 (.45) - that's a 28% better ratio - and easy to get.

It would help to know what you have now. If you'd post your character name and the kind of plat you could spend someone might have a suggestion.

I still stand by my earlier comment that the rogues are a bigger problem than your gear. Tell them to use their -hate stance and it'll be much easier for you to hold aggro....especially on adepts. Also on adepts they probably shouldn't be running in stabbing away when the mob is at 98% health...

By 25-35 the rogues should be able to evade to control their aggro at least once a fight.

The problem isn't the warrior, it's the DPS.

My characters name is Tfuel, wish Fomelo recorded augs.

I don't have a ranged item yet, was thinking of Firemane's courage. Still don't have a second ring because I'm deciding whether to get all Jacinth rings and go massive AC.

I have 6K left to spend on him. Not that I want to spend it all though.

Ok, checked your fomelo. Get a Cloak of Blind Rage if you can find one. 25% haste and good stats/HP. Will carry you awhile. (fomelo Hanc if you want a look at one) Usual range 1.8k-2.5k

Ringwise, could try Iced Ring (name off a little I think)... Base ac6 40 hp/mana and save cold 20. Pretty affordable.

Also option to do the Newport ring quest, it is pretty decent all around. The 5th ring is really amazing in that series.

Collar of the Fluxator is a nice peice and has +agro to it iirc. +agro caps at 10 and makes a huge difference.

Main weapon hand, could try a Fang of Si'thi. Procs a DoT with DD and is 8/13. Usually around 700-1kp. Another weapon option may be a Ruby Hilted Sword, 13/21 procs a -25 dex. Normally 1kp'ish in price.

Some of these will have reccomended levels, i am unsure of which but the cloak of blind rage is 20.

Hoop of the Kedge is good tank ring too.
