War and Fame Points

I am still relatively new to the server, and am not exactly sure how/how often fame points are awarded, but is there anyway they can be distributed during the war? I think it would make since to give "Fame Points" to the "war heroes", but maybe that is not how they are used. Some of the items you can purchase from the Fame Points are very fun, but don't make a character overpowered by any means, so it might be a nice little reward for the participants.

Just thought I would throw that idea out there!

They are only given out during large events that are organized by the staff. They can't be rewarded without the assistance of a GM, so unless a GM were online during the war and supervised the fights this probably wouldn't work out. Maybe there could be a way of awarding fame to everyone in the zone, but that would probably lead to people just going for the fame. I'm happy without the fame. Last time there was a event I won 425 fame anyway. =D
 
There were GMs supervising the war in Lake Starfall. I am not sure if this wil always be the case, but having some supervision to a mass pickup raid isn't usually a bad idea. I think a small amount of fame (25 or so) might entice people to come to the wars as opposed to just a chance at /random for loot. It would be awarded at the end so people wouldn't just come in and out (/who at the beginning, /who at the end...everyone in both lists gets fame, etc.).

Fame points are supposed to be easy, I have been on this server for 2 years and never even seen a fame point...Savy?
