Wanting my ranger to walk through your lands...

...I have carried his name through many years and I was pointed to this site by a friend who wanted me to come adventure with him through your world. He said he was having a great time, so I thought I would try.

I read the naming rules, and my name doesn't violate any.

I signed up on the boards with my name.

I made my account with my name.

I attempt to make my ranger only to be told it isn't an name that can be approved.

I made this name up over a decade ago when I was designing some characters for myself, so my question is to whether my name is able to be fought for or am I stuck making another? I don't want to waste the time of the admins who administer this site and game server, but if I plan to spend a long time playing I would rather continue my epic journey with him.

Speaking of which...there's something related to this that bugs me...

I tried several names when I started and all were taken.


So here it is a few months later and out of curiosity I get on Wanelo to look up those character names I tried so long ago.

All god damn level 1's. Still.

That sucks.

It's almost as bad as domain name squatting
