Verizon fios anyone?

So, I decided recently to come back to SoD for a little bit. I never uninstalled it on my computer, but the household did however, switch over to Verizon fios...and now my problem is that whenever I log into SoD, i immediately begin to go linkdead. Anyone else here ever use Fios, or have this problem? Solutions?

Did you download the newest patcher? If you never uninstalled it, my guess would be that your still using the older one.

Thanks for pointing that out, I got the new patcher going on with whatever other downloads I needed, unfortunately for me the terrible lag and constant LD persists, so I'm pretty positive its with my connection..... but thanks for the suggestion. =)

Can you try bypassing any routers/firewalls and turn off any software firewalls. Sounds like packets arent being forwarded from zone server->client.

I and a lot of other users have FiOS and I don't experience any problems connection wise, except for the client's packet-loss bug, which is unavoidable.
