Everything else in the game works fine but when I right click on vendors, the window pops up but there is nothing for sale. Any idea how I can fix this? Thanks.

Vendors Empty

You might be right-clicking on player vendors that haven't been "employed" yet. The player vendors are the ones with "vendor" in their name. Their names look like this:
Vendor
(name)
If these aren't the same guys you are having problems with, I don't know what to tell you.

This could be a UI issue. EQLive changed thier merchant window and if you have a newer UI it will use the EQLive merchant window files as apose to the ones you need for SoD.
You can fix this by going back to the default UI that comes with EQ.
Also be sure you have the most recent Files.zip from www.shardsofdalaya.com
