Yeah, I got un-lazy. Don't worry though, I'm taking a nap after this and I'll be back to normal before the fabric of the universe is torn apart.

I found some unrest about player-owned vendors as far back as SoD Discussion, page 142. Enjoyed fond memories of BANFEST 2005 on page 136. Sad that most of the interesting discussion was in IRC.
 
Those NPC vendors were all taken the moment they were available, and you had to click on them to see what they had. It sucked.

I like the current system much better, even though it takes some time to browse, it's not too bad by any means.
