Vanguard: Saga of Heros

Didnt see this in any of the other pages/sections so I will post it here. If you havent heard about Vanguard, it is a game from some of the original Verant folks that quit SOE and split off to make their own company. The CEO is actually Brad McQuaid who was instrumental in developing EQ1 and the old Fironia Vie RP server. Vanguard is a throw back to a more challenging MMO since WoW and some of the other current MMOs are lacking. It will be published under Microsoft Games, but it is not under Microsoft directly.

Possible. I'm not in beta, so I don't know how extensive their NDA is.

Yea, it is against the NDA and they are pretty strict about it. Know some people that have been banned for posting on guild message boards ect. but he didnt actually say he is in beta. Lots of guild are getting recruits and such for when the game is released. We have done the same with our vanguard guild.

Well, you'll be seeing me around SoD for a lot longer than I anticipated. Sony and Sigil are co-publishing Vanguard, so I don't see any way that I'm going to be playing it.

Yes, I will probably give it a go and at least check it out. I am not a fan of sonys however I am an online game lover and would like to see if it is just another spin off of another fantasy game.

I'd like to see some originality out there without a lot of follow the leader type games.

I'm looking forward to Pirates of the burning sea as well. It sounds a bit different and right up my ally
