Using Winter's Roar and EQLive

For the record, I'm asking this after having searched a few times (not too sure for what I'm searching) and the EQEmulator forums are down at the time.

Anyway just a question:

Is there a way I can use Winter's Roar and still keep another set of EQ files for use with EQLive or Emulator servers? The way I understand it, the patcher for WR would change files from my EQ installation and I wouldn't be able to play on other servers because they require the regular EQ files. Is it as easy as just copying my EQ directory and making a new one for WR?

Just looking for some guidance before I go and screw everything up on my own.

Thanks for your time

Sure you can. Just click on your eq directory and type cntrl+c

Then press cntrl + v. Now Download the WR patcher into "copy of Everquest" and run it.

Presto it works!

But right now, WR is not working :( edit: for me.

The patcher has a backup/restore function you can use.

Or you can use two EQ directories.
