Use "Identify" cast on monsters, to get their exac

A good use for the identify spell would be to be cast on monsters, just like when holding items, and it would say their exact level, and maybe other statistics.

This idea is mostly for caster players who are higher level than monsters, so they can see if the monster is too high to be charmed or not, as well as possible other needs.

Bards get this as a high level AA ability, on a larger scale.

Casters are just going to have to get by with observation, memory and instinct for the moment.

Sure for the moment. but are there any plans for doing this on a later date? i mean.. cmon.. its a brilliant idea. No doubt about it.. it came from me

No plans for this. One, it would make the bard AA useless (bards get an identify song). Two, it would give too much information, way, way, WAY too easily.
