Upload Area?

I keep getting asked by various people where people can download my copy ui program (copies both UI files over with a new name after you point it to your game directory. Saves time not having to set up spell sets/window locations/etc). I have also seen people have their Mega-Upload hosted UIs getting trashed. And every now and then, people asking what other UIs are available. I don't suppose there could be an upload area where we can enter a valid lvl 65 SoD account info and then petition in-game (within 48 hours) to have the file(s) virus scanned and moved to a separate download area with a short description. Maybe categorized into: Parsers, UIs (with screenshots!), Map Packs?, Misc.?

No account or no petition after 48 hours, files get deleted with new upload/petition required (to prevent to many files sitting out in the server's upload directory).
 
Scratch petition off that list. The GM Team has enough to deal with. If the Dev Team or Server Team want to take this on, that's on them.
 
By making the GMs (who are unpaid volunteers) do this for you, then playing the victim when you're told no for obvious reasons? No. Your idea is terrible. Stop posting.
 
A post/wiki section with good UI's that are approved by many players is not a horrible idea. I would be willing to host them on the SoD page - but only with a lot of trusted people vouching for each.

Basically we are not an upload service... but I would be willing to put up a UI section if anyone wanted to compile a list of good SoD UI's publicly.
 
People often ask for a UI list on the wiki. There has been a page on the wiki for forever and a day. As for hosting, I don't know what to tell you. The ones on the wiki were uploaded to filefront - I don't know if that is still online.

People make forum threads for UIs, though I think the wiki would be better since the list can be easily updated by anyone. But no one actually updates the wiki page with UIs, even though its always a popular idea. I've offered to upload screenshots locally for UI authors and to style the page to support them, but none of the authors have submitted them. ~
