Hi all. First time poster on this board. I am new to the SoD community but I used to play ********* a while back. I like SoD because I don’t feel like I am wasting money if I don’t play every night. And with 2 young children I can’t/don’t want to play every night. Anyway, to my question. I decided to purchase and install the EQ anniversary edition so that I could get all the new expansions that have come out since I quit playing. However, when I go to enter the game there is a red note that shows that I have only 6 expansions enabled. If I remember correctly they are RoK, LoY, PoP, Velious, Luclin and one other I can’t recall at the moment. Should I use the update expansions owned button on that screen or will that screw something up.
Thanks for any help you can provide. Sorry for the newbie question but it is going to take me a little while to get back into the groove. Thanks again !!

the client doesn't recognize expansions that were made after it/aren't enabled serverside.

If you installed the expansions up to and including GoD you should be able to run the SoD patcher and play.

Oh, I can play the game. I guess my questions was whether or not I would have access to any of the content from the other expansions? Or if there is currently any content available from the other expansions? I have only been playing SoD for a few night and so my character is only lvl3 currently. Thanks!!!

The expansions are used in a mix-matched way. Most of velious is in, a few LDoN zones, a few Luclin zones (leftover from lands of magic which constituted Luclin), some Planes zones are used for... planes...

"Expansions" do not have to be all incorporated or all inactive. Many of the planes and LDoN zones in SoD are only there because the zone lay out fit well with what the developers were trying to do with that zone. Keep in mind that basically nothing about these zones are the same except zone geometry.

On a side note, much of the Kunark expansion will be implemented with the introduction of the new continent "Ikisith"
