unnerf Ytrazliarch

Why was ytraz changed from 80 hps to 10? where is our alternative weapon? If you wish to change the warrior main hand tank weapon atleast offer some alternatives like agonizer dagger.

Ytraz was changed because it was overpowered, obviously. That and no one important uses it anymore.

This was long coming. Ytraz has no business being much better than weapons that are considerably harder to get.

... uh to be honest, I was a little disappointed at the stats of Ytraz before it was nerfed, I heard there was some issue about not wanting to have great stats on weapons so I kinda shrugged it off. But now... 10 hp? This is so ridiculous. It has ratio and some AC, but the stats suck. So its much better than weapons that are considerably harder to get? Lets see, pretty much every other weapon in game comes from some named that you kill once and thats it. To be honest, nothing that is regularly farmed (which would mean pretty much everything) is so crazy hard. And Ytrazliarch is a quest, something you have to faction up for, farm stuff, gather forces (not just once), and just work on over time. Everything else just drops in one kill (not saying it drops every kill, but that essentially you just kill something and get it) and yay gratz.

Ytraz: Get faction, camp rare spawns and rare drops (Gloom Guards? c'mon), and kill a few raid mobs.
Everything else: clear to and kill a raid mob.

Now yes, I'll be the first to admit that Ytraz raid mobs are probably not as hard as some of the other stuff that drops great warrior mainhands, but you cant tell me that a slight increase in raid difficulty makes up for all the other crap and things you have to kill.

Ok, so it has no business being much better than weapons that are considerably harder, what about Rangers? After I got a 2hs, I've only used my Ytraz when I needed str (ie. no buffs) or to buffer up my wanelo a little bit ;) , which narrows it down to about never. Keep in mind that the Ytrazliarch is also ranger usable, and well... since Rangers are going to be bowing (or 2hs'ing), all its going to be used for really are stats, which I already went over, suck. Take Blade of Shifting Dimentions as comparison.

Ytraz: slightly better (?) ratio, 10 ac, 10 sta, proc over Blade
Blade of Shifting Dimentions: 13 dex, 12 cha, 13 agi, 50 hp, 80 mana, 15 SVM over Ytraz

Considering those stats that Ytraz has on Blade have essentially nothing to do with archery (and you wouldnt have it equipped using a 2hs anyways), Blade of Shifting Dimentions is words ahead in terms of statistical benefit for a ranger. And in my opinion, after you're keyed to Prison (I admit, this is not the easiest feat), the mobs that drop this are easier than doing the whole Ytraz quest. And considering these essentially rot now, doesnt make the Ytraz look so hot.

I would propose, if you still are against good warriors using Ytraz, to at least make it a decent ranger weapon. Perhaps add some sort of effect to it that wont really effect its utility for warriors, but at least give rangers some incentive to use this weapon commonly regarded as a semi-epic. Because as it is, pretty much anyone who has went through this quest is now keeping it in their bag to look at when they're bored.

Aeran is right, quests of this magnitude need to give incentive. This quest involves killing many raid mobs(some could argue single groupable...but if you think more casually) Gloom guards suck for anyone who cant charm them...and even those that can(trust me! OUCH!!!) And dont forget all the faction work. Sheesh. People need incentive to delve into the game and grab items like Rod of living fire, Ytraz, etc.

Oh that reminds me, is RoLF supposed to be pure caster equiv. to Ytraz? Just out of curiosity.

I have to side with Aeran here too, a quest of that magnitude should result in a better weapon than a weapon dropped from some raid mob a group of 20 or 30 took down in an hour or two. That quest requires alot more time and effort than just attending a raid with your guild; not to mention attending raids with your guild is something done on a regular basis, a quest like that isn't done on a regular basis. Just my 2 copper.

Okay, point taken. I still feel 80hp is a bit much, but 60hp seems fair.
