Uninstall?

Prolly a dumb question, but if I want to give live another go do I need to completely uninstall the game from my machine or can I just start patching live? What about the SoD patcher that I was using? Not really sure what needs to be done.

I really enjoyed my time in shards but I'm ready for a change, and the whole anniversary bug has bitten me. I look forward to coming back when the ikisith (sp) development is finished though :)

Bit of a followup question - I've currently got SoD installed onto a clean copy of titanium. I'm wondering, is it possible to revert it back to a clean titanium install without cleaning and reinstalling? The reason I ask is because there's a server on EQEmu that I'm interested in trying out, and I don't want to maintain two full EQ installs on my machine. I'm hoping there's some way to reconfigure a few files to swap compatibily.
 
I just installed their patcher and patched.
When I got bored 2 days later I patched back to SoD.
What broke it was patching to live. At that pt I could repatch to SoD and play fine but I could not patch back to the other EMU and play at all.
