Underwear Usage

I sometimes wish to run around in my underwear. I always found it mildly annoying to have to wear clothes in game. Even when I have no armour on. What if I want to go streaking in my tighty whities? I cant. Nay. I have to wear street cloths and just look like a vah shir civilian moving at selo speeds past throngs of people on the docks of newport. The effect is just not the same.

In guild wars, when you take your clothes off, your down to your skivies. Perfect attire for those moments of /dance a-thons.

I vote we have some undies in this game.

Pros:
1) It delineates and validates the cloth & silk armour graphics which have always been just plain clothes for the lay caster.

2) Undies are funny.

3) See #2.

Side note: Another idea would be a waist slot item that makes all your other armour slots appear invisible.

But speaking realistically, I don't think what you propose is practicable, especially with the fact that not everyone uses the same models. In theory, I think it could be remotely possible to add a new texture set spanning all races by using Zaela's WLD Texture Adder, but it would be a huge undertaking. Also, some of the females -- I'm looking at you, you exhibitionist Elves! -- couldn't possibly strip down any further without earning the server an "M for mature" rating.

On a side note, anyone else remember the funny bug on Live back in ~2003 or so that resulted in all Luclin models showing up naked?! :eek:
 
That is some hawtness! How did you achieve that strange skinny ogress illusion and bare chested gnome?

Realistically, I figured it was impossible with the client and graphics being what it is. Wishful thinking on my end.

I do remember that! Sometimes I use to raid my shaman without gear in the visible gear slots, just to be silly.
