Underhill Faction

I ended up Dubious to guards and KOS to most gnomes inside Underhill from killing a roaming gnome around the mines in Steamfont. I had no idea this would happen considering there were not any faction hits when I killed him, after the first time I killed him I fought in this area for a while and he hit me and died a couple more times. No biggie, or so I thought.

Now I need to fix this faction somehow, since this all happened he did attack me once more and now he is displaying faction, so I have no idea how to fix the faction.

What raises the faction with all of Underhill? I have yet to find anything and I can't seem to get much help in game.

I have not seen anything personally that would fix this by killing it. I would suggest finding an enchanter to turn you into a gnome, that is if you are not one already... and then try to do some simple questing .. alot of it, inside Underhill.

Sadly I am a gnome, so that isnt going to help. I tried doing a few quests I can get to without dying, however none of them gave any good faction hits.

Seems to me they should reset my faction since he was not displaying any faction hits, really though the first time I attacked him was my fault, but if I had known he was giving bad faction hits I would have killed off my pet and ran to a zone when he attacked me.

I've had faction hits not be displayed before either. Mainly on the frogloks in Mielech. Rule of thumb, don't attack anything that's your same race unless it attacks you first. I would like to see the faction issues looked into though, oftentimes I don't get a faction hit message when I know that it's changing and possibly more often I get a faction hit from a fight I wasn't even involved with, I was just in the same vicinity as the others who were fighting.

Agreed I have seen faction hits based on "Guilty by proximity" while running past other groups.

Yeah, I'm not sure if it's because I managed to be on the hate list just from the fact that I was KOS to the mob or if it's because I was in the general area or not. Would hate to see people killing farmers, be in the same area, and then take hits to that faction.
