Unable to Register

I get the error

Adding SoD login account (step 1)...FAILED

username and forum name pass, but it fails here.

Search brought up two threads with my problem. First was server down, other simply posted this is being looked into. Both were posted 2 years ago. I checked server status and all the zones are up.

What is wrong?

My friend just finally got everything installed and working and ive been helping her ovr the phone for about 3 days now and shes really really really anxious to play but she cant register.. any idea how long it will be down for? or maybe would it be possible for u to make it for her personally?
 
Its being worked on, and will be restored ASAP, since yeah, we realize account creation is pretty pivotal.

Until then, the DB has been cut off.

ok, good to know. thanks for the quick reply... and would i be asking for too much to possibly create an account for her if i was to give you a usr name and passworD? if not, i understand u guys are probly very busy.
 
Not a possibility currently, as our GMtools have also been cut off from the DB for the time being. Rest assured it is being worked on, however, we have to request patience.

As stated we realize account registration is very important, however, we really couldnt leave it or anything else that accessed the database as it was.
 
account recovery is still broken but we're working on it.

edit:

As of friday afternoon, password recovery is working again.
