Two technical problems

I have recently been having two problems with the EQ client:

1. Whenever I start the client, the login window is off the screen. Normally in Windows 7, you can simply hold the windows key and press one of the arrows to move the window around. However, this method does not work with the EQ window. Luckily I can login without being able to see the window, but it is rather annoying.

2. My dad installed the EQ Titanium client, ran the SOD patcher and created an account. When we was in the character creation screen, he could not type in the character name text box. He could click the auto-generate button and even delete the letters from that name. However, he could not type a new one.

Any advice on either of these would be helpful.

It turns out that he can't really use the keyboard in game at all. He can only use special characters and arrows.
And I now realize there is a technical support thread....

for me i've always had to right click on the desktop go to properties or whatever and set my resolution up really high, click on the client blue bar and drag it to the top left of my screen's corner. set resolution back to what it was. Then when i get into game i have to set my in game reolution to the same as my Videocard/monitors and then the client resizes itself. Hope this helps

The keyboard problem was solved. The culprit was Webroot antivirus.

What Oozu said works for me on those rare occasions when client gets that way for me.
