Two-Boxing Trouble

Hi, I am new to the game but not to EQ. I've got two different accounts, and they run fine when logged in. I read the rules and it seemed like two boxing was accepted so hopefully I'm not breaking any rules by doings this.

When I log in on both toons simultaneously, it works fine. They can be in different zones or the same zone it doesn't matter. They can even both group together, and while groups I am able to run one, pull a mom, auto attack, switch over and heal with the other no problem.

The issue is when I auto follow. It never seems to fail when I have one auto-follow the other I suffer what I believe is severe packetloss (I think, I haven't figured out how to check it yet). They both might as well lag out because neither is in the least bit functional. This is bewildering to me as I can work them perfectly otherwise.

If there is any information you need from me to be more helpful, please ask. I am very much looking forward to joining the community here and can't wait to hopefully get this issue worked out.

Press F11 to bring up your packet/ping bar in the upper left hand corner. Packet loss happens when you see your ping spike or drop rapidly and a gap occurs on the bar. This sounds like a frame rate malfunction. Packet loss almost always has something to do with either your internet connection or the server. If it is packet loss, I'd say it's caused by something external from the client altogether. Run the standard gauntlet to start:

1.) Repatch all.
2.) Recache.
3.) Turn off texture caching.
4.) Reinstall SoD.
5.) Reinstall EQ.
