Two boxing in eqw

I am having trouble with my Eqw mode. How do I set the window size so that I can see my full ui? Also, is it possible to have a window that fills my screen but still be able to switch to other account? Finally, is it possible to edit the ini file so that I can use the luclin ui?

I hope you all can help. Thanks!

If you do ALT-O when you are in the game, you get the game settings. In there (in display I think) you can change the resolution of the game. If you set that to your screen resolution, you should get something that fills most of the screen.

Seeing as it's windowed, I don't think you can ever get rid of the window bar at the top. But if you press the windows key or alt tab until you get your mouse cursor outside of the game window, you can click on the bar at the top and drag the game window until it fills the whole screen, with just a little bit of the bar at the top showing. So it's almost like having full screen. Once it's like that, I personally then like to right click my windows taskbar, and set it to auto hide, and tell it to dock at the top of the screen. That way it's completely out of the way when I play the game and the game is as close to full screen as it gets.

I know that it's also possible to edit an ini file (I forgot which one) to tell the window exactly where to go, rather than doing the windows key / alt tab thing and dragging it yourself. As for the Luclin UI, I don't know anything about that sorry. Hopefully someone else can help. But I do know that there are lots of custom UI's out there that people use with this game.

If using eqw do ALT + CTRL + R to release the mouse from the window, also if using more than one eqw window you can set a key to switch between windows faster than ALT + TAB. You can set all the eqw settings in the eqw.ini in the eqw directory. The ini for setting your window location on screen is the eqclient.ini there is window position setting in there.

Speaking of Boxing. Just tried to open two instances of EQW and both froze up. Is this common or must I now have two insalled EQ directories to box?

It's not common and you don't need two separate directories. I forget if having separate directories improves performance.

unless you're playing on other servers, there should be no reason to have more than one installation.

things freeze up on character select with eqw sometimes if you're alt+tabbing. eqw and alt-tabbing is a bad idea and i should know, since i do it constantly heh. there are other key commands that re better and built into eqw if you can remember to use them. just be patient and try to figure out what's making it happen for you and what you can do to avoid it. but do use eqw - it is better than not. i figured out a way to unfreeze it that worked most of the time in such situations for me but i can't remember. it might have been like hovering over the icon and ... idk clicking on the reveal window instead of alt-tabbing back in? its been a while since i've had one freeze up on me.
