Two Box Help

Alt + Tab doesnt work when I want to switch windows. Can anyone give me some 2 boxing tips?

No, it doesn't. You have to disable the Windows hotkey block EQLive originally had.

i used ctrl alt s for switching.. it prevents accidently targeting urself. and its really not hard when u get the hang of it.

I two box a shammy and necro, and its a lot of fun. For me, its pretty much throw my 2 necro dots, clinging darkness and poison bolt, and then use my shammy to heal the pet and keep it buffed, and keep sicken and the other lvl 9 debuff on (I forget its name), and then med on both chars till the mob dies. Allmost no downtime, and I can kill red mobs. Hopefully, when my pet gets stronger, it will be like having a warrior around. I have a small question though, if I give my pet a shield will it post its AC?

When I originally had the problem of not being able to alt+tab even with EQW running, I found that the problem was my Windows XP install... basically I had SP1 installed (or maybe no SP even... not sure)... I had to install SP2, get all the updates, and then everything was working. If you have a valid/legit copy of Windows XP installed, use Internet Explorer to visit the following link, and let it download and install all the critical updates. Any time it asks you if you want to trust teh site, say yes:

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com

After all the updates and pacthes, maybe it will work then? Although maybe you have all the updates already. Just hope this helps.

I had a similar problem when I started, here's what worked for me:

Open your Accessibility options and disable all windows function keys. Also if you have special video card helper programs you might want to turn that off, I know the Intel Video cards come with a "hotkey" program so you can change various video settings with keyboard combinations, that would be listed in your task tray by your clock in the bottom right corner.

If you use this link just make sure to follow every tiny step (I forgot one and it didn't work then.).
After it restart your PC and it should work. SP2 is not required.
