Twitchy graphics [FIXED]

Up to the server selection screen, everything is okay. At character selection, the characters twitch a lot while rotating. Enter world, and a nearby large-ish NPC starts expanding until it gets so big it's pretty much disappeared. Sitting and camping ended up with me underneath the ground.

It worked properly before, but since then, I've reformatted my hard drive and put XP in place of Vista, and had to install unsupported XP downgrade drivers. I'm using a laptop, **** Vaio, model VGN-SZ43GN.

I'll be back to post some specs.

Usually means you have a multi core processor. There is a sticky on the subject in the Tech Support forum.

I have troubles setting affinity, it'd tell me "Access is denied." when I try. I'm running as Administrator.

Setting compatibility mode on eqgame.exe to Windows 95 seems to have fixed the problem. I also disabled advanced text services for it, but I don't think that affects anything.
