Twisting

Twisting is not like live...it's set up here so you can play 2 beneficial songs on yourself or your party, and 2 detrimental songs on mobs at the same time. You don't need to twist them like before, just start them and they will stay running. Songs you are playing affecting mobs can be interrupted if they bash you, in which case you need to start them over, but otherwise...no more carpal tunnel syndrome! Oh yeah, I've also noticed you can have more than 2 songs on yourself if some are miscellaneous like invis or enduring breath. Typing /cmd endsong will stop your songs, in case you don't feel like casting CoD on Newport guards or anything.
 
Actually, to keep two detrimental songs on a mob, you have to twist. But, you can always keep two beneficial songs going without twisting.
 
That is too bad. I was a bard that LOVED the twisting. It sounds too easy. I always felt that twisting was such an original way to play and when some friends suggested we pick back up the game here I was really looking forward to reliving such an great and interesting class.

Not so sure anymore. Your rules though, I am just morning the loss of the idea of twisting again.

I used to mourn the loss of twisting as well.
 
I am still downloading. I will start my Bard again, but I am worried that it will be too far from what it used to be.
 
I hated melodies when they first came out. Now I'm so lazy that I can't imagine anything else.
