My one piece of advice is get that monk some haste! You can look on the wiki for sources, but I would imagine buying a bloody cloak of the offering or cloak of blind rage would be a very good investment. Think about it this way 25% haste means 25% more dps from your monk, what other item is going to give you that!?
 
Use your wiz to help your monk do his starfall (for the 2 dmg gloves) or just get something like Gloves of Calification for his hands. And yes, haste is key, the 2 items miffane listed are probably your best bet at the moment.
