Tunnel UDP through VPN?

Judging from the error messages in dbg.txt's that people have posted in the technical support forum, a good deal of zoning problems are caused by packets that just never arrive (the client just times out). This may be because the packets get dropped by an intermediate router and the server never even realises that it needs to resend them (since the client never sends ACK's for UDP).

What we could do is create a VPN and transfer the unreliable UDP packets through the reliable VPN connection, thereby avoiding any difficulties caused by the unreliable nature of UDP connections. Could someone please set this up and post the keys?

VPN connections aren't reliable, they allow the payload protocol to handle error checking and retransmission.
