Tunic of Beastial Ferocity and BST Thaz armor in general

Could the right click on this please be changed? We are already *THE* most buff dependant class in the game being both a melee class and a hybrid who relies more on mana than any other hybrid, quite frankly we simply do NOT have room for yet another buff. When this buff is actually needed on our pet we ourselves also need resist buffs exacerbating the lack of room for it.

I'm not sure if the effect itself even while adding 100 more resists will be useful yet as pet base resists seem to be low to begin with and with all the top end boss AE's having very high negative resist mods it seems like it will still be a crapshoot whether the pet will resist, heavily leaning towards the likelihood that it will land.

I'd also like to mention the AC component on BST Thaz armor is yet again either a miniscule AC upgrade (4 ac up in upgraded from from tunic of distraction...a Sepulcher BP), all the other upgraded leather pieces seem to be either the same AC as prior tiers or a loss in AC.I can't understand why leather classes seem to have been frozen in time with regards to AC while all other stats gets a bump up, and from what I can see chain and platemail users continue to move forward in that regard.

Other than these two things the other stats seem fine on the armor.

Suggestions to replace the effect:

Companion Health VII or higher - Beastlords are currently frozen in this regard with our highest comp health item having only Companion Health V..Mantle of Infusion, an EC item that only requires a group to get, if any other bst usable items from Thaz have higher ignore this, but I have not seen any from what we have killed or from fomelo.

Remove the buff portion on ourselves and if it's neccessary because of that change lower the amount of resists the pet recieves - unless pets get a boost in base resists or if resist boosts are added in to companion health items I don't see this helping a whole lot, but the lack of a buff on ourselves would at least remove the most aggravating part.

Damage Increment VII - moderately useful for the occasional ice shard, and for weapon procs.

Just to head off the inevitable fomelo clickers yelling "But you don't even have the BP yet!" I don't NEED to have it to see these things, we simply don't have room for yet another buff and AC has simply stagnated on leather armor for a very long time.

Here are some leather BP's from different tiers (no particular order), just to show how AC never really goes up that much

Damask Leather Tunic AC:34 - a one groupable Elds BP that is only 4 AC less than the Beastial Tunic :psyduck:
Gi of Swiftness AC:28 - Very Difficult Treasure Map
Zerkotah's Gi AC:30 - DHK
Shroud of Vapor AC:28 - OP
Tunic of Distraction AC:34 - Sep
Combine Leather Jacket AC:32 - Prison
Immaculate Woven Tunic (unupgraded Thaz BP) AC:37 - Thaz
Tunic of Beastial Ferocity AC:38 - Thaz

What happens if you dispel it on yourself?

I'm not sure what happens if you dispell it, but if the pet still retained the resists this seems a bit exploity.Even if that wouldn't be considered an exploit it would still be a pain to consistently make sure that it was in the first buff slot.

I agree with Kas that the Companion Health 7 option does seem to be the best, filling a hole in our itemization and with it being unlikely that Beastlords would replace this tunic anytime soon. Also yay for not having to swap pet focus crap every time we zone or relog for PL since all the pet focus items are designed around casters. :toot:

Heh I agree with you, as it is. I was just wondering :keke: Another buff (especially a negative one for you for something your pet ought to have anyway) is not needed.

swapping stuff out every time you zone or LD or anything is kinda balls. It would be nice to have permanent gear with those focii. that being said, I don't think I'd permanently replace ghar boots for upgraded thaz bst boots.

I'll make some changes to this. I agree with the Comp. Health suggestion; as for the clicky I'll look at doing something about it requiring a buff slot on you.

I would just like to say thank you, this is the reason so many continue to play on and enjoy this server, the staff continues to create great content for it's playerbase out of it's own time for no pay and on top of it it listens to it's players feedback.

Any news on this?

Also It would be cool to have 210hp on it, to be on par with Monk / Bard / Ranger's BPs. Right now you dont get any Hps when upgrading it.
