Trying to Return

Hi hi. Trying to come back to SoD, I miss it there. I had to start fresh installing, but I have up to underfoot installed. I followed the step by step thread, and I must have missed something or done something wrong.

I downloaded the sodpatcher and moved that into the EverQuest folder. I ran that, and I made sure the line pointed to eqgame.exe. Then I get an ERROR: String not found (303.) message. Any suggestions of where I messed up? Thank you in advance!

You don't have to move the SoD patcher into the EQ folder you just need to direct it there when you run it. Not sure if that effects anything.

Your eqstr_en.txt is corrupt, and you need to repatch it.

I'd suggest you follow the installation guide that matches your version of the game. It is pretty simple to do.
