i know this is kind of self explanatory,
but maybe it'll help someone out there.
i just spent about 30 min fixing eq so it would work
after going through every post i could find.
after a few minutes it dawned on me why
i couldn't get my char past the char select.

after making a new char, it logged in perfectly into the world.
so before you get frusterated and insane, you might want
to just try remaking your level 1 char if you're new
and having problems.

I think what he meant is that remaking the character WAS the fix..l

yeah sorry about being a little vague i was kind of intoxicated at the time.

remaking the character instead of using the same character after every try
fixed what was giving me problems.
