Troll/Iksar regen (racial trait bonus) broken?

Racial Traits:

Regeneration: Trolls have a natural healing ability far surpassing that of most races. They regain health at an increased pace.

Was just wondering if this racial trait/bonus is not working as it should? I happened to notice yesterday that my (level 16) troll shaman was only regenerating 2 hp's a tick while standing (and not fighting)...I'm not sure what other races regenerate at, but I would assume that the bonus trolls and iksars get would allow them to regenerate at a higher tick than the current 2, and if so this trait is broken or not working as intended.

I know we can't really relate this to EQ Live as a lot has changed (and I do mean a lot), but in Live trolls/iksars did indeed regenerate for more than 2 ticks a click while standing (not fighting).

Is this something that you guys will look into eventually? I'm just wondering because the added regeneration bonus that these two races receive is a reason that many people choose to play these races. If this feature is not working properly please look into it. If it is, then ignore this post.

Everyone regenerates 1hp/tick standing except trolls/iksar who regenerate two. It's a lot more sitting.
 
I'd actually be interested in a table of regen rates for iksars and trolls if there is such a thing, anyone able to point me to one for SoD?

trolls and iksars regen at 2hp/tick at any level
 
but by standing you are talking about 'in general'

there are only two types of regen on this game - sitting and standing. well three if you count FD regen which I think is the same as standing regen anyways.

The origianl EQ only had trolls the regen was useful for about 3 levels then it didnt really
matter. The trolls ulra low starting wisdom isn't even balanced out by its regen rate for
shamans doing canibalize. They charged a big xp bonus for something that wasnt really
balanced at all. Leave it up to EQ team to charge it's players more time and give you
less than nothing for it.. ;)

The only really decent regen aspect is maybe from a iksar necro or wizard. iksar necro
can be quite a pain in the butt to kill for npc's if they feiign and regen with thier good
pets. But all in all if you spend time getting tons of wisdom gear a cannibalizing troll
shaman can make a pretty darn good healer.
