Would it be possible to make this guy's Reclusive Mantle of Shrouding no drop? It seems like every time I join a group in MielB, there's a 65 farming the offerer and Trisk. I don't mind farming, but it'd be nice to xp in this area and actually pick up some decent loot in the process without competing with higher levels who're only in it for the cash.

How will this solve your problem? The mantle is quite a sought after item at all levels, including 65, and making it No Drop will just force more of them to go out and camp it themselves.
 
It is primarily farmed by necromancers who just resell it, few other classes can effectively do the camp.
 
Ive been camping this on and off for quite some time... not to sell it, but for the clicky invis. Many classes without invis will continue, as Traul said, to camp this even if it is made No Drop. I guess making it no drop will cut out some people farming it for the money, but people like me will continue to farm it. Its just unlucky that the item happens to be pretty rare, so people will spend a lot of time at the camp.

<edit> At 65 as a monk I can easily solo the PH and the named. I still usually bring a shaman, just to be safe. Either way, Im sure classes besides Necros can "effectively" camp this item =P
 
Specifically, Chrux is there 24/7, before him it was almost never camped longterm, because noone else can stand the mind numbing boredom. Also, I was including the other two camps in mielechb for the full cycle that Chrux and the other farmers do which is a bit more difficult than just Trisk.
 
First off, I would like to mention that I never ksed anyone and have always been the first person to the camps that I am camping and that anyone whom comes along telling me that I can not camp more then 1 camp is just jealous because I got up early in the morning to try and farm some items so I can afford such things as gear and spells.

Secondly, every single person that comes in the zone and wants to kill the same enemies whom place holders I sometimes have been killing for as many as 60 hours straight are just harrassing me. I have been kind and have not petitioned or reported or even logged these such attempts at kill stealing the things I have spent so much time trying to get, I play fairly if someone manages to agro the rare first that I have been camping for 60 hours and waiting to spawn so be it I would write it off as a loss and move on.

Finally, I am simply better at agroing what I camp first then you are at moving in with a group of six or more people and griefing me.

Dont hate on me and flame me which most people have done already, just bring a bigger army with better skill , yes this is a challange I enjoy competition more then you could possibly know and it keeps me awake and motivated to stay longer.

I dunno. Maybe I need to put more thought into the request. Perhaps some camp rules could be set up so that one person cannot farm a whole zone at once? It's just annoying that xp groups crawling through MielB are denied the opportunity to obtain loot just because some people are greedy.
 
Well as soon as he leaves the trisk/offerer area to go kill the live side PH's then i would move into whichever area you want. If they leave the area to go elsewhere they have no claims on that spawn imo. If they want that particular mob they can hang out in that area, not try and monopolize the entire zone.

and soda.... on SoD u cannot steal a camp or claim a camp ( as far as i know and have been told by everyone )... that concept doesnt exist here... if its alive u can kill it... u may make some enemies by stealing a camp, but chrux ( in this example ) would not be in trouble for KSing people who move into his spawn after he left the room.

this is not. If you're in the room and engage first, and someone comes along and KSs you, then that is griefing, and is not allowed. From the Rules:

Deliberate training, killstealing, griefing, excessive vulgarity or otherwise being a prick to other players will result in severe repercussions to yourself.

what if both are waiting for it to appear and both engage as it spawns... is there any rules regarding this?
