Treasure map dig spots

Today my group was in Storm Sea doing a tmap at the bottom of the volcano. During this map there was one wave where the mobs were under the world, but the mage pet still managed to attack them - nobody else could target though. Then another wave popped completely under the ground and we waited around for it, eventually they decided to come up and attack someone in the group who was sitting. Then 2 or so waves later, it popped under the world again, and we camped the digger which reset the map. Plus that silly trap at the bottom is annoying.

I would like to request that dig sites that are commonly bugged (the bottom of the volcano is the worst offender) either be removed from the pool of possible sites completely, or relocated to a different location in the zone.

The spots I can think of off the top of my head are:
Bottom of volcano in SS
On the inside wall of volcano in SS
IIRC there is one on a hill in OSM
Bottom of some sand dunes in North Wastes

Basically anywhere that is on a steep hill is a problem. If anyone else can think of others please mention them here. Please consider removing these bugged dig sites for maps.
 
This would be amazing to fix.

I think everyone who plays sod for a decent amount of time has dealt with this stuff and slowly gets use it to it. It would be nice if new people didn't have to deal with it however.
 
It's awful and changing the loc shouldn't be TOO hard a fix. Who the hell buries treasure in the side of hills anyway? Those are some terrible pirates...
 
Agreed. I think I still have an open Dmap on a toon that is just too much a PITA to finish cause it's right on the trap in SS.

I also dont care for map locations like HG valley in OSM. Simple maps have no place there, at least from the standpoint that a lvl 20-29 digging there is almost suicide.

There is prolly nothing that can be done for maps currently in existence, but can something be done about map locations for the future? Tmaps are just about my favorite thing to do on this server, and the experience overall is great, just a couple of minor annoyances.
 
Oasis has a nasty Tmap loc too - 2 I think actually. Both on the sides of steep hills in the north of the zone. Wouldn't be as bad if you could zoom the view out more, but its still really a PITA to deal with. There are much better locs in the zones that have these maps that could be used.

SS - along the shore line or where the sand meets the trees
OSM - anywhere BUT the area the SGs roam in. Maybe the larger more open area directly to the north
Oasis - along the shoreline or the old orc highway
NWT - shoreline or along the rock wall (the loc by the spectre pole is a great example of how to place them well)

Just some suggestions for where to move the nastier locs to. Not sure how difficult this change might actually be.
 
Bumping this in the hopes that someone on staff replies even if it is a No sorry not happening. I think this is discouraging to newer players, and I know I have gotten frustrated enough to delete maps in terrible locations. Seems like something that has been a problem for a long time and not too difficult a fix.
