Treasure Map Dig Sites

Treasure Map dig sites should not be in the bottom of a hole. This makes for walling issues. Numerous times we've had petitions in because we cannot get a monster out of the wall. I suggest that the map dig sites be on flat areas of land to prevent this from happening.
 
There are hundreds of treasure points, I'm not going to go through all of them to figure out which ones are at the bottom of holes. If you list specific places where you have had treasure mobs spawn under the world, that can be dealt with.
 
Rather than fix all the current maps, can it just be done where no new maps from here on are in a hole, specifrically that one? Time and attrition can weed out the remaining maps. Might be easier, but I am no coder by any means.
 
There's that one in darkwoods where you splash around in water if you go deep enough into the hole.
 
On top of ones mentioned, Darkwoods SW corner there is a map that is in a hole with a pillar in the center.

Darkwood maps bring a whole host of problems of their own. The roaming mobs are strong enough, and cast spells, that they can mob a group of on tier players. I get the idea of having roamer danger to spice things up, but players shouldn't be getting mobbed by roamers.
 
Dark wood maps are fine difficulty wise all the roamer trash is ez even for an on tier grp. Just clear the roamers beforedig. If its still a problem send me a tell and ill come.destroy the.zone.for you

There is one map in the middle of the zone that was a problem because of roamers. I am way over geared for the content now, but thanks for the offer :)
 
Talking about roamers, maps digs should never intersect the path of Blackscale roamers in Obsidian Shard Mountains, either. I threw away a few maps after opening them, not because of the danger, but because of the faction hits.

This is not a problem, I remember doing VD and MoD maps with Scourge WAAAAAYYYYY back in the day when Tier 1 and below was an actual Tier and we didnt have these problems we just simply killed everything that may have been a problem before we began digging.

Providing the approximate /loc for any of those dig sites you come across would be particularly helpful.
