Treasure hunting ettiquette

How do treasure hunting groups normally work? Is the first dibs on the chest items for the Tmap owner? Is it all random? Is everyone obliged to bring a map so it has odds to be even?

Just curious as I have only done a few so far with alts.

The few groups where i did TMaps with so far all did it so that the TM owner got the cashloot and eventually questdrop, rest was need, if noone needed random.

The TMaps I have done was whoever needed rolled on the stat items from the chest. The group leader got the jewels and money from the chest and he announced the stat items and those who needed them rolled.

Since they are all no drop there isn't really greed rolls, so it is just who can use it rolls.

spells need, if no need then to map owner
items random
