Greetings,

Been trying to track down if this is correct or not, but seeing as the only way into storm sea is the boats, which generally seem to be fubar (not saying anything about that, I could never make boats or elevators work like I wanted them to on my own test servers) I was curious to see if we could get a translocator to send us to Storm Sea and Sea of Swords and back in since certain quests are based out of at least the Storm Sea zone?
 
The boats now have an automatic "fix" that causes them to restart should they stop working properly. If you have run into particular issues, post them in the bug list.

As for translocators, this has been suggested regularly when the boats were really screwy but the answer has always been "no".
 
I have done several quests involving the Sea of Swords / Storm Seas and I have never had an issue with the boats not working. I hear people bitching about it in OOC all the time, and yet, I've never seen it on the dozen + occasions I've used the boats. Either I'm extremely lucky, or I'm just patient and everyone else just needs to just freaking wait for the boat to come and not bitch about it. It might take 20 minutes, but it will come.
