Trainer Varsh - Spectre Quest in Centaur Hills

Ok, got as far as talking to Varsh and he tells you to bring back proof you destroyed the spectres...

Killed a spectre and got the No Drop Scythe.. however he doesn't want it. What gives? Is he seeking a different item or do you have to say something specific?

Ok, whats happening is that you killed the wrong spectre BUT you are fine bc you can turn that scythe in to Ranger General Shedari and get the Ranger's Banded Tunic. They are different quests. Now what you need to give Trainer Varsh is Corrupted essence it drops of Spectres of corruption which can be found in the Badlands (i went to Western). These mobs don't just walk about the badlands though you need to wait for them to spawn. They spawn at 8PM game time (easy way to tell when thats coming about is bc 8PM is shortly after you get the message "the day ends" or what not). They come out of the Guardian Wraith and only walk around for a minute (they go to corrupt other mobs) camps which are way to high level for you so keep your distance when waiting for them to spawn. On the bright side of things, they have like 30 HP and you should be able to kill a lot of them until you get your drop =P . Hope this helps.
