Tradeskills secondary stats

Hi everybody,

I recall that, on Live they had (still have?) "secondary stats" for some tradeskills. Meaning that if a particular stat is higher than both your Wisdom and Intelligence score, this stat will be used in determining skill-ups for that tradeskill (I recall STR for smithing and DEX for fletching, as an example). Is it still the case here?

No. Your stats have no relation to your tradeskills, period.

My friends and I noticed a huge difference in the players who had a high Int or Wis score vs low.

So, the fact that my warrior skilled up fishing in half the time it took the druid was just chance?

*laughs* And here I was developing all kinds of theories on what stat or combination of stats was driving fishing skill ups. I was about to start up a bunch of level one characters with different stats to see if I could figure it out.
