Tradeskill requests

I would like to request that more baking recipes be added. I realize it's not a priority for a lot of players, but I really enjoy tradeskilling, and I got this one mostly done in just one day. Some new pottery recipes would be nice too, as they don't go much higher than baking at the moment. But pottery at least seems to have what is needed to go into other tradeskills already in place. With baking, there's so much you can do with stat food recipes, probably with items that are already in game. I know nothing about programming, but I'm guessing that would be easier than coming up with new drops/forages etc. would be. So for me at least, if asked to choose, baking would be the preferable upgrade.

Whenever the developers time allows, I would appreciate some new stuff and higher triv levels.

Expanding baking and pottery are definetly on the to-do list, it's just a matter of the dev's having time and priority to get to it. There have been revamps of a few of the tradeskills recently, and I know there are more coming. Just be patient. :)
 
Thanks much for the reply. I sort of figured I wasn't the first to ask, but it never hurts to throw your 2 cents worth in. Glad to hear it's in the works! Meanwhile, there are plenty of tradeskills that are complete, as well as other things to do in game.
 
There are a few tradeskills that were/are being "fixed", so to speak, as it's much easier to fix things that are broken then to completely create items. Tempus was recently put in charge of tradeskills, and has been doing a hell of a job with revamps of existing tradeskills, fixing broken combines, etc.

I know finishing the existing tradeskills like baking, pottery, etc., that are not complete are on his list. Just remember, on the list means... "A few months down the road, if not longer." It's not as simple as creating new recipes. Due to SoD being the way it is (aka, not thrown together, but very well thought out & planned), books have to be written, lore examined, balancing considered...

Give 'em time, grasshopper! :)
