Trade bug???

I was in SNP tonight trying to trade with a player (Shurley from Legacy) and my trade window got bugged -- or something ...
I showed I gave her 2.5k for a couple items and she said I never gave her the pp. The odd thing was I also showed still having it in my inventory, so I re-clicked the pp and put it in the trade window again. It then showed I was trading her 5k for the items, but she still did not see anything, so I canceled the trade. When I did so the pp never returned in my inventory. I checked my bank and it didn't go there either. Anyone else have anything like this happen to them? I petitioned the problem but shortly after went LD due to what I would assume was a server backup being that it was 1am EST. When I logged back in I no longer had a petitin in queue, so I re-petitioned. It has been about an hour now and the other person has logged. I am not sure what to do at this point. Do I have to petition again the next time I am on? Does the other person have to be on for the issue to be resolved? I did not have my log on, and the screen shot I took poofed from my computer's memory when I went LD. ;(
 
Not quite the same problem but today I tried to trade an item from one of my characters to another. Both were standing and were visible, but when I tried to initate a trade it said that the other was busy, no matter who tried to start the trade. I zoned a little bit later and it started working again but then a little bit after that it I started getting the same busy message again. Maybe there was something funky going on with trade today?
 
One thing I can recommend. Do not try to initiate a trade while within the bank. If the other player has their banker window open, it will trade bug both of you. You then have to zone/relog to get the trade window to work again.
 
Yea, I've had the "Sorry, I'm busy right now!" message before, and you're right ... it is usully when I try and trade while in the banker window or vis versa. Although, it has happened when that wasn't the case. That seems to be an easy bug to "fix" (zone/relog). In any event the GM's fixed my trade bug issue (THANKS AGAIN XELDAN! :eek: ). Shurley, If you read the boards send me a /tell in game to either this toon or Veruuca and I have the pp for those two items we tried to trade for last night. :)
 
Easy fix for the trade bug (this is a common bug, specially for my NP bank trade mule)...

Once you are trade bugged, simply inititate a trade with an NPC (give them on copper, ofr example) then cancel the trade. This nearly always corrects the problem for me.

The only exception to this rule is when I have packet loss, in which case logging out and back in is the only way to fix it.
 
The other thing to note is that it may appear someone is standing when they really are not. I've notice this happen when I two box and it seems to happen whenever one character is sitting and I invite them to a group. When they join, it appears as if they stand up, but from switching to the other screen, they are still sitting.
