tracking progressive quests

hi all,

Just getting started on SoD and I am trying to get some of the newbie armor quests done for my frog wizzy.

But I can't figure out how to re-access the quest prompt from the guildmaster to tell me what I need to collect. Is there a command I can use in game to review the quests I've done with him and provide the prompt for the quest again?

I have checked the wiki by the way and this particular quest line is not listed.

The journal system is supposed to do that... and the more... thorough quests would just let you re-hail the NPC. Try /cm journal and follow those prompts.

However neither of these may have occurred for your NPC... if you get no assistance (player or otherwise) in the next few hours, through a petition in, and I will assist you (can not do so now).

A quest journal feature has been added relatively recently. Use "/cm journal" to access your quest journal, however if this is an older quest it most likely has not had this feature integrated into it yet. There is a good chance that the newbie quest you are trying to do doesn't support this feature yet.

You might try finding the quest on the wiki or asking another player who has done the quest recently.

Thanks for the quick responses.

I had discovered the /cm journal function already but like you said, I guess it wasn't including this particular NPC yet. This quest, I'm sure, is not a particularly big deal.

That said, I turned in some items that I thought were the quest component and they turned out, in fact, to be the quest component, so the particular instance at issue is now moot.
